Janice walker

Board Director

Janice Teresa Walker, a lifelong resident of Harnett County, currently resides in Bunnlevel, NC with her husband of 51 years, Charles. She is the proud mother of three children, grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of three.

Now retired, Janice works as a substitute teacher and remains actively engaged in her community. A lifetime member of Lillington Star Freewill Baptist Church, she was ordained as an associate minister in 2024 and is guided by her faith in serving others.

Janice is deeply committed to supporting youth through encouragement, advocacy, and meaningful community impact. She believes in empowering individuals, fostering leadership, and strengthening communities through service, education, and compassion—values she brings to her work with Say Y.E.S. Foundation, Inc.
