Dr. Helen Walker is a dedicated educator and community advocate from Bunnlevel, North Carolina. With over 26 years of service in the education system who has built a career rooted in excellence, innovation, and outreach.

Helen holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, equipping her with both the academic expertise and practical experience to drive meaningful change in schools and communities.

 

As a pioneer in education and community engagement, Helen has consistently championed initiatives that empower students, families, and educators. She is deeply committed to advancing the SAY YES vision and mission, believing in the transformative power of education to open doors and create opportunities for all.

Beyond her professional life, Helen treasures her role as a mother, mother-in-love, and proud grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. Her personal and professional journeys reflect a lifelong dedication to nurturing growth, fostering connections, and inspiring future generations.
